We are celebrating the new year with the grand opening of two new stores in January! The first grand opening was in Glendale (75th Avenue and West Glendale Avenue) on Friday, January 3, 2025, and the second was in Phoenix (3rd Street and East Bell Road) on Friday, January 10, 2025.
“We’re excited to kick off the new year with new stores throughout the Valley,” said Adam Lewis, Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. “We encourage the community to come out, enjoy free coffee and pastries, and help us celebrate!”
On Friday, January 31, 2025, Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona will be opening another store in Phoenix off of 75th Avenue and McDowell Road. Mark your calendars and sign up for our newsletter to stay in the know for more Goodwill news and grand openings!
At every grand opening, the first 150 people in line outside of the store will receive a $5 gift card for use while shopping at the new location. Additionally, if guests bring a full bag of donations during regular hours of the store’s grand opening weekend, they will also receive a $5 off $10 or more off coupon.
With thousands of new items placed on Goodwill’s sales floor daily, from designer clothing and shoes to furniture and collectibles, Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona offers unique secondhand items for less. Revenue generated from Goodwill’s retail stores helps to support its mission services including career development, training, and resources like MyCareerAdvisor.com, education initiatives like The Excel Center adult high school, and much more.
