August 17th is National Thrift Shop Day. Head to Goodwill to shop for unique finds and amazing deals. You never know what you’ll find at Goodwill!
The racks at Goodwill have seen tons of vintage clothing, designer accessories, and quality furniture. Many shoppers love to buy discounted items at our stores and put their own personal touch on them. Pottery & Artwork
If you find a piece of artwork with a signature or an attached certificate, it may be worth something. You’ll need to investigate further to know for sure, but don’t skip the artwork section!
Tables & Chairs
A sturdy table is easy to refinish. Look for quality wood that still has a lot of life left. Then you can sand and paint for a table that looks brand new. Mixing and matching chairs is totally acceptable and encouraged.
Designer Handbags
Brand names like Dooney & Burke and Kate Spade have graced our stores with their presence. Don’t judge a book by its cover—check the label.
Collectible Items
Signed baseballs, vinyl records, and vintage children’s toys have all been found at Goodwill. You just have to be willing to hunt.
