GCNA collects shopper, donor, and job seeker Personal Data. This information is to provide promotions, discounts, and services. More detailed information is below.

 

How We Collect Personal Data

We collect Personal Data about you in a variety of ways depending on how you interact with us and our website and services, including:

Data Subjects can make the following choices regarding their Personal Data:

  • Promotional Emails. You may choose to provide us with your email address for the purpose of allowing us to send free coupons, newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials to you, as well as targeted offers from third parties. You can stop receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in emails that you receive. To opt-out of receiving communications from GCNA, “Opt-Out” can be selected from any GCNA email, or please contact us using the information below. If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you service related communications.
  • Promotional Mailings. If at any time you do not want to receive offers and/or circulars from us you can remove yourself from our mailing lists by emailing us (our contact information is below) with “NO SNAIL MAIL” in the subject line along with your name, address and zip code. Please note that our mailings are prepared in advance of their being sent. Although we will remove your name from our mailing list after receiving your request, you may still receive mailings from us that had been initiated prior to your name being removed.
  • Promotional Text Messages. If you opt-in to receive a text message from us that contains promotional information you can opt-out of receiving future text messages by replying “STOP.”
  • Access to and Modification of Your Personal Data through Accounts. Some services provided by GCNA permit you to make an account. You can access the Personal Data that you’ve provided through that account by logging in and modifying that information on the account management or preference center pages. Under certain circumstances, you may also request access and modification to your Personal Data by contacting us at the address described below.
  • Do Not Track. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Sharing Your Personal Data

In addition to the specific situations discussed elsewhere in this policy, we disclose information in the following situations:

  1. Service Providers. We share your information with service providers. Among other things service providers may help us to administer our website, administer our job application portal, conduct surveys, provide technical support, process payments, and assist in the fulfillment of orders.

In order to assist you with your job search or career placement, we partner with private companies and other entities who are looking for candidates to fill their job needs. If you apply for a job with one of our partnered employers, we may share your Personal Data to help facilitate your application with these employers.
  4. Disclosures with Your Consent. We may ask if you would like us to share your information with other unaffiliated third parties who are not described elsewhere in this policy.
  5. Disclosures without Your Consent. We may disclose information in response to subpoenas, warrants, or court orders, or in connection with any legal process, or to comply with relevant laws. We may also share your information in order to establish or exercise our rights, to defend against a legal claim, to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud, safety of person or property, or a violation of our policies, or to comply with your request for the shipment of products to or the provision of services by a third party intermediary.

 

How Does GCNA Secure Personal Data?

We do our best to keep your Personal Data safe. We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We use anonymizing and pseudonymizing where suitable. We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.

Even though we try our best, we cannot guarantee the security of information. However, we promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.

If you have an account with us, note that you have to keep your username and password secret.

  • Third Party Applications/Websites. We have no control over the privacy practices of third party websites.
