Warehouse & Drivers – Position Descriptions

Join us for our Warehouse & Driver hiring event on Tuesday, November 12 from 11 am to 4 pm at our Retail Operations Center on 51st & Van Buren.

We will be hiring for the following positions:

CDL & Box Truck Driver:

The Warehouse and Transportation department plays a crucial role in Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona’s retail and recycling initiatives. It provides transportation services to all of our retail stores and donation centers, delivering product to stores, and transporting processed merchandise and recyclable materials to our Retail Operations Center (ROC).

The Transportation team operates all warehouse vehicles to pick up, transport and/or deliver donated goods. Members within this department are responsible for coordination of transportation, storage, or distribution of donated merchandise for Goodwill.

  • CDL and Class A or B is Required
  • Flexible schedules
  • Part-time 8-24 hours
  • Full-time (nights only)
  • Driver Training Program after a year of employment

Clearance Center & Warehouse Support:

The Warehouse team processes items that are being recycled from our stores and sold to salvage vendors. This department includes roles such as salvage grading, dock helper, and forklift, baler, and tipper operator, and more.

The Clearance Center team processes and moves donated merchandise in preparation for sale in the clearance outlet. All members of this team are cross-trained to work as a retail sales associate or as forklift operators.

E-Commerce:
The E-Commerce team works together to list and process specific items that will be sold on shopgoodwill.com. They largely price jewelry and other unique items, pulling orders from shelves or staging area, and generate packing and postage labels for sold items

  • Processor
  • Lister
  • Photographer
  • Shipper

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License and clean MVR. Driver’s must have 2 years of recent truck driving experience.
  • Pass background check and drug screen.
